God tells us in Genesis 15:1 (paraphrased)” Fear not. Hey! don’t look around you and be paralyzed and afraid. I am with you. No matter what the circumstances, trust in Me. No matter how bad things may look trust in Me. I alone am your shield, your abundant compensation, and your exceedingly great reward.” That is a great reminder to us to keep our eyes on Jesus, to get our focus off whatever is disturbing us and look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. “Looking away from all that will distract) to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith and is also its Finisher ( bringing it to maturity and perfection.”
