Psalm 30 tells us, “ I will extol You o Lord, for You have lifted me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me. O Lord my God I cried to You and You have healed me. O Lord, You have brought my life up from Sheol ( the place of the dead) You have kept me alive that I should not go down to the pit. Psalm 18:10-29 says, “ I will call on the Lord who is to be praised so I shall be saved from my enemies… In my distress when seemingly closed in I called to the Lord and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of His temple Heaven and my cry came before Him to His very ears….. He reached from on high and took me; He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy and from those who hated and abhored me for they were too strong for me … He brought me forth into a large place. He was delivering me because he was pleased with me and delighted in me.”
God loves us so much. He knows where we are and what we are going through. He knows that we are suffering. He knows that we are being tormented. He knows that we are hurting and He longs to help us. He wants to provide us a way of escape to peace and comfort.
A prayer we could pray:
“God thank You for knowing me so well. Thank You for loving me just as I am and being pleased with me. That love is too much to understand. Thank you for seeing my suffering and pain. Thank You for rescuing me. I give You my life. I give You my pain. I give You my heart. Show Make things new for me in Your name we pray. amen
