Recently I had the opportunity to go to Kauai for a time of rest and refreshing. The island had just been hit with gargantuan storms that caused major flooding to areas in the north. Fortunately, we were staying in the southern area which received clouds and light drizzle at times. The skies were majestic in their cloudiness mixed with bright blue skies which reminded me that no matter what you are going through God’s faithfulness shines through. I painted this watercolor called “Rest by the water”from our balcony.
