The Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.” The Message translation puts it this way, “ Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and watch God do his work of salvation for you today. Take a good look at the Egyptians (your problems) today for you’re never going to see them again.” God is telling us to have faith in him and remain at rest. He is fighting our battles for us.
